The Locarno Festival and the Thessaloniki International Film Festival announce today the call for entries for the Thessaloniki-Locarno Industry Academy International.

The aim of the training program, now at its second edition, is to help young professionals of the cinema industry – sales agents, distributors and new media professionals – to extend their experience and networking in the fields of international sales, marketing, distribution and programming. The event will offer a special workshop during which they will have the opportunity to interact, share experiences and meet with key players of the international film industry, for discussions, case study presentations and group workshops.

The Locarno Industry Academy International have already successfully been launched in Mexico (Morelia IFF) and New York (Film Society of Lincoln Center’s New Directors New Films).
